This year, we will not be able to participating in AIDS Walk NY. We will be making Donations and encourage others to Donate as well.

We were sore but we did it! Fabienne and I raised $275 total. Online donations are still being accepted until June. Maybe we can get more people on this blogging team next year. Here's to wishful thinking.

Tomorrow is the Mega Mailing Mission 2. I just called the office about the time because it wasn't in the -mail. It's going to start at 6pm; a plus is that it's going to be such a beautiful day tomorrow.
I've gotten 2 other donations since my last post. My total is now at $100.

On Friday I received an e-mail from Elisa Osborne (AWNY Volunteer Coordinator) letting me know that there is another Mega Mailing Mission happening next Wednesday (April 16th). I went last month to help check/seal the letters that went to all of last years participants to remind them to register for AIDS Walk NY. I'm pretty sure that I'm going next week.
Also, on Friday I started asking my co-workers to sponsor me for the walk. I'm hoping that some of them could walk with me that day also. Yesterday, I received my first donation for $25.00. I started late, but I'm off to a good start. I hope to reach my $200 goal before the walk.

Calling All Bloggers!!
Last year Fabienne and I volunteered for AIDS Walk New York. This year we are going to do it again but this time we thought that it would be good if we could make a team out of it. You wouldn't necessary have to walk the entire 10k (if you want to then you'll have bragging rights for weeks on end) but you could volunteer. They need all the help they can get.
The AIDS Walk takes place on Sunday, May 18th at Central Park. Which gives us more than two months to get this up and running. I don't believe a Blogging AIDS Walk Team has been formed yet. Bloggers who are interested in joining up, please email Jenny or Fabienne. You can join the team here.
